 Infection Control Policy

If you’re feeling unwell with symptoms such as fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell, we recommend performing a Covid Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) at home and opting for a “phone consult” to minimise the risk of spreading any infectious illnesses.

In the event of a positive Covid result, it’s imperative to schedule a “phone consult” only and refrain from visiting in person until symptoms have resolved for at least 24 hours.

For those presenting with cold and flu symptoms at the surgery, please ensure you’ve undergone a RAT (with a negative Covid result) beforehand, bring your own mask, and adhere to the guidance provided by our receptionist.

Please note that our clinic may update or modify its infection control policy periodically to ensure the safety of all patients, doctors, and staff members. We kindly request your cooperation in respecting our staff and adhering to our infection control policy at all times.

Zero Tolerance Policy

Our team of staff and health professionals pride themselves on treating our patients with utmost respect, and we kindly ask for the same level of respect in return. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of verbal or physical abuse directed at any member of our team. This policy is in place to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone in our workplace.

Should any instance of aggressive behavior towards a staff member or health professional occur, we reserve the right to take necessary actions, which may include asking the individual to leave the premises, terminating a phone call, implementing a ban from our practice, or involving law enforcement if deemed necessary. Such measures are implemented to uphold a safe and respectful environment for all.

Covid Testing

Covid testing is now offered at our medical center for selected patients, subject to the discretion of the general practitioner. As a best practice, we encourage individuals to conduct Covid Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) at home to help control the spread of infection.
